What to Expect from Therapy?Therapy with us is a blend of conversation, practical strategies, real-world application, and on-going support. While talk therapy is important, we believe it’s equally, if not more, important to leave sessions with tools to help you build skills and create meaningful change. I specialize in working with individual adults (18+) and couples navigating life complexities. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Sessions are typically 60 minutes long, and frequency depends on your needs, some clients prefer weekly sessions, while others come biweekly or monthly. If you’re unsure, we can discuss what fits your goals and schedule.

Booking, Fees & InsuranceIndividual sessions are $155, and couples sessions are $200. We accept insurance. Many extended health plans in Saskatchewan and Ontario cover therapy with a registered social worker, but I always recommend checking with your provider before booking. I plan to offer direct billing for select insurance providers in the near future. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can ask questions and see if we’re a good fit. You can book a session or consultation directly through my website by clicking the "Book Online" button, which takes you to my Jane booking page. If you have any questions before booking, feel free to reach out.

Availability & LicensingWe currently offer virtual therapy via virtual and phone services, allowing you to access support from wherever you’re most comfortable. I am a registered social worker with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW) and the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), meaning I can work with clients in both Saskatchewan and Ontario.

Cancellations & Session PoliciesWe have a 48-hour cancellation policy for any cancellations. If less than 48 hour's notice is given, or an appointment is missed, a half-session fee will apply. However, we understand that life happens. Therefore, fees will be assessed on a case-by-case basis to ensure flexibility while respecting appointment times.

Getting the Most Out of TherapyIt’s completely okay if you don’t know what to talk about in therapy, I’ll help guide the conversation and support you in identifying areas for growth and change. If you’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t work, I understand. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and finding the right fit makes a difference. My approach is adaptable, whether you need structured guidance or just a supportive space to explore your thoughts and feelings. Therapy is for anyone looking for support, personal growth, or better coping strategies. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or want to make positive changes, therapy can help. If you're attending couples therapy, both partners will be involved. If you’d like a support person to join you for an individual session, such as for your first session, that can be arranged as needed. My priority is making sure you feel as comfortable and supported as possible.
